Using your software sampler to create rhythm parts ( I'm going to use a guitar for this example)

1. Load your sampler plug-in of in to your host program.

2. Load a guitar power cord.

3. Add a plug-in compressor to the FX insert for your sampler.

4. Then load a drum loop into blank audio track and mute that track.

5. Now back to the compressor. Select the audio track that the drum loop is on for the side chain on the compressor.

6. Now your guitar power cord will have a rhythm (adjust the threshold on the compressor to make the pattern smooth )

7. There are 1000's of combination you can use

a. Try other instrument/sounds in your sampler( strings pad horns or what every you want )

b. In the audio track that your side chaining try using a bass line or anything else you
want.
